NORTHERN THAILAND VILLAGE HOME STAY

DAY ONE

      • Travel to Samoeng, the lush farmland surrounding Chiang Mai, where tea, rice, macadamias, orchids and strawberries are grown.
      • Visit the King’s Royal Project for Sustainable Agriculture Learn about the educational project sponsored by the Royal Family teaching rural farmers about sustainable and organic agriculture, economical crops, and how to move away from slash and burn agricultural practices
      • Tour Rice Paddies and Strawberry Farm
      • Hike in the hills.
      • Homestay in Farming Village  We are invited to stay in the traditional homes of rural farmers and experience their lives first hand.
        (breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

DAY TWO

      • Daily Life in the Village We will live like the farmers for a day, cooking with them, going to the temple in the morning, helping them with their daily tasks in the field and the village, such as drying rice and silk weaving.
      • Spend the night in Country Guest House (Cha Lai Orchid or similar)
        (breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)

DAY THREE

      • Enjoy the gorgeous countryside: hike, bike, go swimming or rafting, visit with the elephants. 
      • Lunch on the terrace overlooking the river and jungle.
      • Transfer to airport for the return to Bangkok
        (breakfast and lunch included)

3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS

      • $675/per person for 4 or more people (surcharge will apply for groups of less than 4 people)
        Includes all transportation, guides, entrance fees, and 2 nights accommodation (either 1 night homestay and 1 night in a guest house or both nights in one of the above). Includes all meals with the exception of dinner upon arrival in Bangkok.
